I'm a runner wanna be.
I start several crafting projects at one time - currently working on 2 cross-stitch and 3 knitting.
I have 2 great college-aged kids.
I got married when I was 19. We've been married 21 years. Our son was born EXACTLY 1 year to the day of the day we met, January 10, 1990.
I have decided that I don't want to be overweight any longer. I want to DO stuff. Even though my hubby is a homebody, I don't have to just sit. I can DO.
I have a great support system at work and at home.
I don't want to end up like my daddy.....he had diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, lung cancer (for about 2 years...then was healed of it), he looked like a 90 year old man at 60.
I want to be able to help my mom when she needs me.
I want to live a long, healthy life.
I want to ride my horses and not feel like a BLOB, or feel like everyone laughs at me when I do.
I have always felt "chunky". When I was 10, my riding instructor told me I needed to go on a diet, because I have always had large, muscular thighs.
I don't look like I weigh as much as I do....I am INCREDIBLY proportionate.
